Profile is in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Privacy Commissioner of Canada) with regard to the collection and safeguarding of personal information.

In accordance with Human Resources Development Canada guidelines, all employees must show an original, valid S.I.N. card. This number will be kept in a locked location in our offices, separate from their application form. An employee with a S.I.N. who is neither a Canadian citizen nor a permanent resident must also show their original, valid employment authorization.

Social Insurance Numbers are required for income-related purposes, such as payroll deductions for Employment Insurance, Canada Pension and income tax. Profile will not disclose any S.I.N. to other organizations. This information will be kept strictly confidential.
